Andrew Cromer is a seasoned attorney with a wide variety of legal experience. Most recently, Andrew was the Associate General Counsel for Shake Shack based in New York City. Andrew joined Shake Shack shortly after they went public in 2015 and had since supported their rapid domestic and international expansion.
While at Shake Shack, Andrew was responsible for all transactional matters for all departments (Supply, Technology, Marketing, Operations, Accounting, etc.) and managed all litigated issues for the brand, including all employment related matters. Additionally, Andrew further developed Shake Shack's robust intellectual property portfolio, prepared SEC filings for Shake Shack Inc. (“SHAK”), ensured compliance on a variety of issues, including the service of alcohol, while continually supporting and further developing Shake Shack's growing operations. In addition to Andrew’s in-house legal experience at Shake Shack, he also brings a sharp client perspective to AXS LAW.
Complimenting Andrew’s experience in the hospitality and retail sector, Andrew also brings both real estate and corporate transactional experience to AXS LAW. Prior to Shake Shack, Andrew was an associate at Blank Rome in NYC where he focused on real estate matters.
Andrew was born and raised in Miami. He graduated from Ransom Everglades in 2003. He received his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin - Madison (2003) and his J.D. from New York Law School (2007). Andrew is admitted to practice law in the states of New York, New Jersey and Florida.
