AXS LAW Group was founded by Jeff Gutchess and a few fearless colleagues in Miami, Florida just over a decade ago. As a former “biglaw” partner defending corporate clients, we were tired of the old way of doing things. We wanted to attack cases and partner with clients in new ways. Jeff wanted to have more fun and inspire lawyers to work smart, win, and share in the risk and reward of client cases.
AXS LAW was born from this singular desire to do things differently than traditional big law firms while racking up client wins.
We are not about the law. We don’t sell law. We do the law very well, better than almost anyone else. Instead, we sell who we are. AXS LAW lawyers have a passion for life, a passion to make lives better, and to help their clients make lives better.

We are not content. We strive to work with our clients and business partners to build something even greater. Working with client backing, we are assembling a larger and even more talented team of lawyers with offices now in Los Angeles and Washington DC.
