Bernardo Franco

Bernardo is a Brazilian attorney specializing in cross-border disputes and complex civil litigation in the United States and Brazil. Bernardo’s career started at a leading Brazilian law firm, and culminated in the establishment of his own boutique law firm, in Brasilia, Brazil, with a focus on tax litigation.

Before shifting from big law to his own law firm, Bernardo worked at the Ministry of Finance of Brazil, providing legal advice on the development of tax and fiscal policies and on the privatization of railways and ports. Bernardo’s diverse background allowed him to develop an interdisciplinary approach to litigation, which gives him a unique perspective on cross-border legal issues.

Bernardo belongs to a very exclusive group of lawyers who hold a Master’s Degree from University of Brasilia Law School, which has amongst its alumni Brazilian Supreme Court Justices, renowned attorneys, and distinguished politicians. Bernardo also holds an LL.M. from New York University School of Law. Bernardo is admitted to practice in New York and Brazil.
